What an affiliate link does not mean
An affiliate link does not authenticate an object, verify provenance, establish lawful export or import, confirm good title, endorse a seller or guarantee fair value.
It also does not establish that an archaeological object should be privately acquired. Some objects should not be purchased regardless of price.
Why marketplace searches are included
Search paths help compare descriptions, completed prices, modern replicas, reference books and storage supplies. Reproductions and books are frequently safer first purchases for students.
Completed sales are not clean comparables when attribution, documentation, condition or title differ.
Placement rules
